The vario MICRO cube is the entry-level elemental analyzer combining reliable results with outstanding robustness. It utilizes Elementar’s proprietary Advanced Purge and Trap technology with a single Temperature Programmed Desorption (TPD) trap column. Thus, the instrument is capable of determining samples with C : N elemental ratios of up to 5000 : 1.

Quantitative high temperature decomposition: | At a permanent temperature near 1200 °C and during combustion at 1800 °C. In pure oxygen the contained sulfur is fully converted to SO2 with a 100% recovery even in case of BaSO4. Carbon is converted to CO2 and detected by real non-dispersive IR photometer. |

The trace SN cube is the world’s most sensitive combustion analyzer for sulfur and nitrogen in diesel, gasoline and related samples. The catalyst-supported digestion technology ensures complete digestion of all kinds of samples without soot formation or insufficient recovery. The sample is always injected
directly into the combustion tube, there is no need for time-consuming boat inlet feeding. Thus, the analysis time is just 3-5 minutes, depending on sample type. The trace SN cube works as two analyzers in one box. The sample
is injected twice in different combustion tubes which allows the specific optimization of the oxidation process for each element.
